Arsenal to sign Tielemans within ’48 HOURS’, Vieira will undergo medical TODAY, Jesus’ ‘improved’ bid – transfer news

Hello Arsenal fans

Arsenal have placed Gabriel Jesus as their No.1 transfer target, according to Fabrizio Romano.

He told Caught Offside: “Gabriel Jesus is still Arsenal’s main target to this day.

“In the next few hours there will be new contacts to understand if they can reach an agreement or move on to other targets.

“It’s not just Arsenal on Gabriel, who will leave Man City 100 per cent. He’s a top player who wants to start games, and it’s not too surprising to see him taking his time deciding his future.

Elsewhere, Eddie Nketiah has reportedly signed a new contract with Arsenal.

His new contract will see him stay at Arsenal for over a decade after joining the club in 2015, according to the Evening Standard.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have reportedly triggered Porto ace Fabio Vieira’s release clause.

The Gunners have launched a £36million bid releasing Vieira from his contract entanglement, according to the Express.

The 22-year-old is believed to be traveling to north London to undergo a medical before completing his transfer to the capital, the report adds.

Arsenal will pay Porto £29.8m for Fabio Vieira, plus £4.2m, reports have revealed.

The 22-year-old will sign a five-year contract with the Gunners, according to David Ornstein.

His move to North London was facilitated by super agent Jorge Mendes.

Mendes also played a pivotal role in Nicolas Pepe’s move to Arsenal last summer.

Finally, Arsenal are reportedly closing in on signing Bologna full-back Aaron Hickey.

The Emirates will probably be the next best destination for the 20-year-old, according to the Scot.

However, the Gunners will have to shell out at least £18m for Hickey, the report adds.
