Casualty Ward, Round 2, Andrew McCullough, Dragons, Brian To’o, Scott Sorensen, James Fisher-Harris, Panthers, ins, outs, return dates, Mitchell Dunn, Cowboys,

Panthers winger Brian To’o has been cleared of a season-ending ACL injury but will six to eight weeks sidelined after scans revealed an MCL tear, the club has confirmed.

Teammate Scott Sorensen (wrist) was also injured against the Dragons and is in doubt to play the Knights next Saturday.

Penrith prop James Fisher-Harris played just 25 minutes on Friday night before succumbing to a shoulder injury and also underwent scans. He suffered muscular damage and will be monitored throughout the week.

The club is confidant he’ll spend minimal time out but the big man could join Moses Leota (shoulder) on the sideline who the Panthers have lost for two months.

“The club talks about it’s development and bringing players through and it feels like we’ve shown that the last few years,” Panthers skipper Isaah Yeo said.

“We had to show that through periods last year and at the moment we’re going to have to show that again.

“We trust whoever comes into the team will do their job and they’ve done that for the most part, I’ve got trust in all of them.”

It’s good news for Dragons hooker Andrew McCullough who avoided serious injury.

McCullough was in agony against Penrith after appearing to dislocate his elbow but he’s been cleared and is an outside chance of returning on Thursday night against the Sharks.

Meanwhile, Cowboys forward Mitchell Dunn suffered a suspected ACL injury in the first half against the Raiders in a massive blow for him and the club.

Dunn went down clutching at his knee in the 30th minute despite not being touched, which is a bad sign and usually means a long-term recovery.

“That is not good he grabs at the left knee,” Greg Alexander said.

“Any time you see a player go down like that untouched you fear the worst.”

The word coming out of the Cowboys camp was of a suspected ACL injury but will await the results of scans.

The Roosters will be sweating on the fitness of Connor Watson (shoulder), Sitili Topouniua (head knock) and Joey Manu (knee) after their win over the Sea Eagles.

“Connor had a shoulder injury, but if I needed him he could have come back on,” Robinson said.

“They could have strapped him up if we needed him, but we didn’t, but he will have to go and have a look at it.

“Sitili remembers everything, but he felt sick so he was obviously concussed there. He felt a bit crook five minutes after.

“Manu looks OK. He had ice on it there, but, I’m not sure exactly what was wrong with it.”

Five-eighth Luke Keary is hopeful Watson will be OK for next week’s game with the Bunnies.

“I don’t think it is as bad as first thought,” he told Triple-M.

“This morning he was in pretty good spirits so I reckon he’s a chance for next week.”

Reports on Sunday suggests the Roosters are confident Watson, who can cover a number of positions, won’t miss any games.
