Kyrgios looked back and yelled at the heckler, who was seated just meters away from Stiller and his partner Christine Taylor.

“Why are you speaking,” he yelled at the unruly fan, before pointing to Stiller.

“Do I tell him how to act? No,” Kyrgios said, before later shouting: “shut the f*** up”.

While Kyrgios eventually lost the match in three sets, his exchange with Stiller went viral on social media with thousands of fans delighting in the Aussie firebrand’s quick wit.

Tea dodge ball actor has now responded as well, featuring in a light-hearted exchange with Kyrgios on Twitter that concluded with the pair jokingly making arrangements to team up yet again.

It all started with Stiller writing “great match today” to Kyrgios.

Kyrgios replied: “Thanks. Maybe we can start working on the next film together, I think I got some acting in me. How is your tennis?”

Stiller later shot back: “I could use some help with my serve but maybe a new doubles team? We can discuss it on set…”

To which Kyrgios replied: “Done.”

The lighthearted exchange came after Kyrgios made amends for endangering a ball kid during the same match at Indian Wells.

The 26-year-old got in touch with the ball boy at the center of the incident on social media after apologizing for his moment of madness in the immediate aftermath of his loss to Nadal on Friday.

The frustrated Aussie almost injured the teenager after the tennis racquet he smashed into the ground took a wicked bounce in the direction of the ball boy’s head.

Thankfully the ball boy saw the racquet coming and managed to duck out of the way, however Kyrgios was still criticized for endangering the youngster in the “really disturbing” incident.

“I just want to apologise to that ball kid at the end of the match,” Kyrgios wrote on Instagram.

“It was a complete accident and was frustrated at the end of the match.

“My racquet took a crazy bounce and was never my intention. If anyone knows who that ball kid is, send me a message and I will send a racket to him. I’m glad he’s OK!”

Kyrgios tracked down the ball boy on social media, who accepted the apology, saying he was “completely fine” and looking forward to getting his hands on a racquet from the world No. 40.

The pair then organized a meeting in the ball kids area at Indian Wells on Saturday morning (AEDT) with Kyrgios sharing the moment he handed over a racquet to the ball kid.

“I’m sorry about yesterday, are you all right?” Kyrgios asked as he handed over the racquet.

Kyrgios was initially defensive when asked about the incident after the match, beating a reporter for focusing on it after a blockbuster quarter-final clash.

“What would you like me to say about it?,” he said. “Obviously, was that my intention? No. Because I threw the racquet. Did I throw the racquet anywhere near him originally? It landed a meter from my foot and skidded and nearly hit him.

“I’m human. Things happen like that. Obviously it was a very misfortunate bounce. I think if I did that a million times over it wouldn’t have gone that way.”
