The ageless popstar smouldered down the red carpet at the premiere of her upcoming Netflix documentary in a sheer black dress with bold panel detailing.
Jennifer Lopez knows how to turn heads on a red carpet.
The 52-year-old singer and actress stunned onlookers at the premiere of her Netflix documentary Halftime, which kicked off the Tribeca Film Festival this week.
JLo, who is engaged to Ben Affleck in what she’s called a “beautiful” full circle moment, flaunted her famous figure in a black Tom Ford gown featuring daring sheer cutouts.
The Marry Me actress accessorised with glittery Lorraine Schwartz jewels, along with her engagement ring, which is rumoured to have cost about $3.36 million.
Halftime follows JLo’s preparation from her memorable 2020 Super Bowl halftime show and sees her reflect on personal and professional milestones while figuring out how to navigate the next steps of her career.
Speaking to ET Online at the premiere, JLo said she was “anxious but excited” for its release, adding that the film’s title suggests there’s plenty more to come from her in the following years.
“Champions are made in the 3rd and 4th quarter. That’s when you win!” she said
“I feel like there’s a lot left for me. So, I’m very excited about it.
“I do think it’s just halftime.”
The star opened up about her engagement to Ben Affleck in April, sharing intimate details of the romantic moment with fans.
The Hollywood couple reignited their romance last year – following Lopez’s split from ex-fiance Alex Rodriguez – with Lopez spilling all the details in a newsletter on her website, onthejlo.com.
“Saturday night while at my favourite place on earth (in the bubble bath), my beautiful love got on one knee and proposed,” the mother-of-two wrote.
“I was taken totally off guard and just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time trying hard to get my head around the fact that after 20 years this was happening all over again, I was quite literally speechless and he said, ‘is that a yes?’ I said ‘YES of course that’s a YES.’”
She added: “I was smiling so big and tears were coming down my face, feeling so incredibly happy and whole. It was nothing fancy at all, but it was the most romantic thing I could’ve ever imagined … Just a quiet Saturday night at home, two people promising to always be there for each other. Two very lucky people. Who got a second chance at true love.”
