Police are searching for a group of people they say was involved in a violent from-behind attack on a female security guard at the problem-plagued Juicy Festival at the weekend.
The security guard, a woman aged 27, was pulled to the ground from behind by her hair and kicked in the ribs by an “unknown person” during the festival at Red Hill Amphitheatre on Friday night, according to police.
The incident happened between 8.30pm and 9pm and the victim was treated by paramedics at the event.
Police are now searching for four people — two women and two men — who they believe were involved in the altercation.
The women are described as being short with medium builds and brown hair. One man is described as being short, with a solid build and was not wearing a shirt at the time.
