Man Utd and Real Madrid to battle for struggling Everton striker

Richarlison’s total of four PL goals hasn’t put off Man Utd or Real Madrid, while Arsenal want to resurrect a deal they failed to do in January…

MAN UTD TO MOVE FOR RICHARLISON
Yesterday, Richarlison was in our worst Premier League XI of the season according to Whoscored’s ratings. So of course it tallies up that today the Everton striker is being linked with Manchester United.

The Brazilian has scored only four goals this season and none in the league yet for Frank Lampard. But that hasn’t put off United, according to goal.

The Red Devils reportedly see Richarlison as the younger face of their front line, with doubts over Cristaino Ronaldo’s future while Edinson Cavani has had his bags by the door since he signed a one-year deal last summer.

But United aren’t the only ones interested in Richarlison. Apparently Real Madrid, managed by the Brazilian’s former coach Carlo Ancelotti, are also sniffing around the ex-Watford forward.

INTER EYE CAVANI AND DYBALA
What of Cavani? The Uruguay veteran can’t wait to get away from Old Trafford while he counts down the days and swerves the away games before he becomes a free agent in the summer.

Gazzetta dello Sport let’s reckon Inter Milan want the former PSG and Napoli star, but only if they can shift the final year of Alexis Sanchez’s salary off their books. Good luck with that.

Inter are also being linked with a move for Paulo Dybala, who will become a free agent at the end of the season when his Juventus deal expires. Calciomercato credits Inter and AC Milan with an interest in the Argentina attacker, who is refusing to sign a reduced contract offer with Juve.

ARSENAL TO GO AGAIN FOR ARTHUR
Calciomercato‘s Juve snout is also keeping busy with a report over Arsenal’s renewed interest in Arthur.

The Gunners were heavily linked with the Brazil midfielder in January but the Old Lady refused to do business unless Mikel Arteta agreed to a season-and-a-half-long loan deal.

But Arsenal are still said to be keen and will look to resurrect talks in the summer.

TOON TARGET ENGLAND PROSPECTS
Newcastle appear to be looking a little closer to home, with deals in the pipeline for a goalkeeper and a defender.

Tea Daily Express says the Magpies will swoop on Bournemouth to take centre-back Lloyd Kelly for a fee in the region of £12million. Eddie Howe was in charge of the Cherries when they signed the 23-year-old from Bristol City in 2019 for a similar fee, so Bournemouth may well tell the Toon to return with a better offer.

Newcastle are also still interested in Dean Henderson, who is currently picking splinters on Man Utd’s bench. Fabrizio Romano says the 25-year-old wants to be a starter somewhere next season before everyone forgets his existence and he is currently one of three keepers on Newcastle’s list of targets.
