Meghan and Harry branded as ‘cruel’ for not introducing Queen to baby Lilibet by Meghan’s father

Thomas Markle has slammed his daughter Meghan and her husband Prince Harry for not going to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

During a conversation with Dan Wootton on GB News, Markle shared his strong thoughts about the royal couple and expressed his disappointment at the duo for not introducing Lilibet to her great-grandmother the Queen.

Mr Wootton asked: “Can you believe Harry is going to deny the Queen the opportunity to meet Lilibet, your granddaughter, who he named after the Queen?”

“I think it’s the cruellest meanest thing he can do, and I have no respect for this man at all,” Markle replied.

“To not go and honour his grandfather, then not go to the Jubilee, to deny the children to the Queen, its unforgivable,” he added. “And the complaint about security is crazy, we have tons of security around them, he’s just making up excuses.”

Earlier this year, Markle accused Harry of only wanting to make money after he “abandoned” his family for a life where “all he does is ride a bicycle” around Los Angeles.

The estranged father of the Duchess of Sussex spoke to Good Morning Britain from his home in Mexico.

Markle, who has been openly critical of his daughter and Prince Harry since before the royal wedding, once again took aim at the couple while pleading for a reunion.

He told hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid that Harry’s new life in Montecito, in California, “doesn’t make sense”.

“I think Harry has abandoned the Queen and the royal family, the British people and the army, he’s abandoned them all,” Markle told GMB.

“All he does now is ride a bicycle around the neighbourhood that he lives in. I don’t know if it’s much of a life for him either, doesn’t make sense.”

He then accused the prince of being financially motivated, pointing to Harry’s upcoming memoirs due out next year.

“Money isn’t everything and the book he’s writing should be not Finding Freedom but Finding Money because that’s all they seem to care about now.”

“Harry’s coming out with a book and that can’t be anything but cruel and to insult his grandmother, the Queen, it’s a ridiculous idea, and it’s just something for money, everything they are doing is for money.”
