Standings in Groups A-D at Grand Slam of Darts after two games: Van Barneveld and Van Duijvenbode first to qualify

After two days of play in groups A to D of the Grand Slam of Darts, two players are guaranteed a place in the knockout stage; Raymond van Barneveld and Dirk van Duijvenbode in Double Dutch Delight.

With Schindler and Cross still face to face, Van Duijvenbode is already certain. With a victory over Gawlas, he can also still secure victory for the group.

After beating Gerwyn Price, Van Barneveld with his previous win over Dave Chisnall secured his spot. Price and Chisnall haven’t faced off yet, so they will face off to see who will join ‘Barney’ in the Round of 16.

Danny Noppert is in a good position in Group B, but isn’t 100 percent sure after two wins. He has yet to face Mensur Suljovic who is on two points like Simon Whitlock. The UK Open champion needs four legs against ‘The Gentle’. While Christian Perez still has a chance but must win by at least two legs.

In Group C, nothing is decided yet, even if Lisa Ashton needs a big victory to qualify. She still plays Joe Cullen, who, like Ritchie Edhouse, is on two counts. However, Edhouse has yet to play favorite Michael Smith. Smith can afford a narrow loss to advance to the last 16.
