Taskmaster spoilers follow.
The brand new cast of Taskmaster has been revealed ahead of series 14.
With a new champion and a Champion of Champions having been crowned over the last two weeks, Channel 4 is wasting no time in getting ready for more Taskmaster.
Five more comedians have offered themselves to the cruel tasks created by Greg Davies and overseen by his hapless co-host Little Alex Horne.
The first of these new challengers will be Dara Ó Briain, the comedian and presenter best known for Mock the Week and his stint hosting BBC Two’s The Apprentice aftershow You’re Fired!
Ó Briain is also an author of books for both children and adults, so expect his wordplay to be off the charts throughout the series.
Next up is Munya Chawawa, the stand-up comedian whose videos became a viral sensation during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
He recently hosted the MOBO Awards in 2021 and also presents the webseries Race Around Britain to expose racial ignorance in the UK.
Stand-up comic and writer Fern Brady is the presenter of the travel series British as Folk, and has also performed on Live at the Apollo.
Fern is no stranger to panel shows, having previously guest starred on 8 Out Of 10 Cats and BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, among others.
Comedian John Kearns is a previous winner of the prestigious Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Award, in addition to acting in BBC Three’s series Top Coppers.
Little Alex Horne might want to watch his back because John was also the assistant host of Comedy Central’s Guessable for the past three series.
Rounding off the lineup is Sarah Millican, a comedy legend who has been a panelist on Loose Women and also hosted her own Sarah Millican Television Programme on BBC Two.
In the past, Sarah was named one of the 100 most powerful women in the United Kingdom by Woman’s Hour and has received awards from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Chortle and the BBC.
This new cast will be coming soon to a Taskmaster episode near you!
Taskmaster airs on Channel 4. Series 14 has been confirmed.
