Denver started the year 2-1 with a loss to the Seahawks and wins over the Texans and 49ers. The Broncos would then go on a losing streak against the Raiders, Colts, Chargers and Jets in the next quartet of outings.
Denver was able to snap the losing streak against the Jaguars on October 30 in their last appearance. The Broncos trailed by three at halftime but eventually won 21-17. Quarterback Russell Wilson was 18 of 30 for 252 yards, a touchdown and a pick in the win.
On the Tennessee side, they lost their first two games against the Giants and the Bills. The Titans would then hit a winning streak, knocking out the Raiders, Colts, Commanders, Colts again and Texans.
Tennessee played the Chiefs in their last game. The Titans led 17-9 going into the final quarter but ended up losing 20-17 in overtime. Quarterback Malik Willis had 80 yards and Derrick Henry led the way with 115 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries.
The Broncos are 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games and 4-12 ATS in their last 16 against the AFC. Denver is 1-4 ATS in its last five games of Week 10.
Meanwhile, the Titans are 6-0 ATS in their last six games and 5-0 ATS in the last five after an ATS win. Tennessee is 4-0 ATS against a team with a losing record.
TAKE: I will try Denver. The Broncos had a moment to reflect on their ugly win over the Jaguars on October 30. Denver had 331 total yards on 18 first downs in the win, but also had 12 penalties and was just 2 of 11 on third downs. Ideally, the team will be ready to go here after the extra week of preparation.
As for Tennessee, they had a tough offensive outing against Kansas City with just 57 passing yards, nine first downs and 1 of 11 on third downs. The Titans will surely improve those numbers here, but I think Denver can keep it close enough to cover.
Andrew’s Free Pick:
Denver Broncos +3
