The Wanted singer Tom Parker in wheelchair after cancer treatment

A British boyband member, whose cancer is tragically said to be inoperable, is now using a wheelchair as he continues treatment.

Tom Parker is now using a wheelchair after treatment for his inoperable brain tumour has left him too weak to stand.

The Wanted singer, 33, was shown sitting in the chair on his bandmate Max George’s Instagram account, The Sun reports.

Tom looked cool as he flashed a peace sign and rocked a beige beanie hat while sat in his new wheels.

Max played Justin Timberlake’s ‘SexyBack’ over the story, which he captioned: “I mean … come on” followed by a heart eye emoji.

Max has been looking after his friend, who he has called a ‘warrior’, while they are on tour together.

He instagrammed as the pair shared a bed last night.

“Tom is just on his ninth meal of the day,” Max said as Tom laughed while tucking into chicken and salad.

He also gave a message to Tom’s wife Kelsey, saying: “Just so you know Kels, the chips don’t get touched.”

Earlier this week, Tom appeared with bandmates Jay McGuinness, Siva Kaneswaran, Nathan Sykes and Max on stage for their hit ‘Glad You Came’ at the Bournemouth International Centre down on the UK’s south coast.

He missed the start of the group’s Most Wanted greatest hits tour last week to undergo pioneering treatment on his brain cancer in Spain.

But days later he made it to the show, nodding and smiling as his bandmates performed beside him.

At the end of the track, the group shouted “give it up for Tom Parker,” which was met with cheers and rapturous applause.

After the show, the group tweeted: “Like the king that he is! The f**king legend that is @TomParker Bournemouth, that was so special!!!!”

One fan wrote: “Thomas Parker you have my whole entire heart I love you so much @TomParker.”
