How Arsenal could line up with Vieira

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta appears to be building a team increasingly in Manchester City’s profile, with new signing Fabio Vieira drawing comparisons to Bernardo Silva in the way he plays.

The Gunners will likely play in a 4-3-3 formation again for the majority of their games next season, with Thomas Partey, if he remains fit, set to start in the base of midfield.

That leaves two number eight spots alongside him. For games where Arsenal face a low block and have so often struggled to break up teams, Arteta may well choose to launch both Vieira and Martin Odegaard alongside Partey in what would be a team full of creativity.

Leeds are making moves in the early part of this transfer window.

BBC Sport report that a £10million switch for Bayern Munich’s Marc Roca will be finalized and announced today, with the Spanish midfielder set to undergo a medical.

However, the deal for Roca will inevitably lead to more speculation over a potential exit for notorious Manchester City target Kalvin Phillips.
