Victorious Warriors roast Boston fans with locker room chant

During the 2022 NBA Finals, Boston Celtics fans inside the TD Garden made it clear they didn’t think highly of Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green.

After the Warriors closed the series Thursday night and won their fourth title in eight years, the team gathered in the locker room to celebrate their win. Several to beat the writers on the outside heard, well…you guessed it.

“The entire Warriors locker room is chanting ‘f— you, Draymond’ in celebration of champagne right now,” Athletic’s Anthony Slater shared.

The chants also sparked a fun game of seeing which beat writers censor their tweets (we at SFGATE are indebted to an anti-f-bomb style guide, but maybe one day that will change).

After Game 3, Green’s wife wrote in an Instagram post, “Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should fans be allowed to chant obscenities at players!” Thompson said, “Dropping f-bombs with kids in the crowd. Really classy. Good job, Boston.

Meanwhile, Green himself ignored him.

“No, they just talk. It’s not really my job to react to it. They did what I expected. »
